This project is centred around Colchester, but we believe this project can act as a blueprint for other schools and organisations to create their own One Square Mile, in one of the many equally rich areas of heritage around the country.

Colchester Film Makers have a rich history of supporting community projects and sharing their expertise. For the project’s duration, they documented workshops, CPD sessions, events and activities, to produce this ‘how to’ film. We are grateful for their contribution to this educational initiative, creating a fantastic resource for schools looking to develop their own research projects.
